Procurement

Graphite shall provide advice to the client on alternative-procurement strategies available to them for the project and shall make recommendations on the prefered strategy and form of contract subject to project criteria and desired priorities. Our team are experienced in delivering single and two stage D&B, EPC, Short Form and Traditionally procured contracts on a variety of internationally recognized forms of contract. We can write bespoke forms of contract for clients if required and can impliment modern procurement techniques such as early warning, shared pain / gain agreements etc into contract documentation.

Tender Management

Graphite shall compile pre tender estimates and bills of quantities (subject to requirements) in the pre-approved method of measurement. The BOQ will be developed in draft for use in cost planning and ultimately developed for tender issue. Graphite shall assist with the compilation of the tender documents including the drafting of the contract documents to accompany the tender. We will support the Lead Consultant who will be responsible for compiling the final tender document for release to tenderers. Graphite shall be responsible for finalizing and issuing the contract for signature post tender for award. During the tender period Graphite will provide suitable responses to any commercial tender queries and clarifications requested from the tenderers. Graphite shall manage the commercial evaluation of submitted tenders, including post tender clarifications, addenda, qualifications, interviews and negotiations. Our commercial team shall then advise the client on the most commercially acceptable bid and recommendation for award.
