Cheltenham College Muscat is a new build UK Independent through school in Muscat Oman aiming to provide the very best British curriculum education facilities in the community and the city.

Cheltenham College

Site and context are extremely important and very much influence the design of the branch campus. The elements of the overall school: Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior are staggered across the site and each changes height – starting with the one storey pre-prep block and culminating in a cluster of 3+ storey blocks including the Performing Arts Centre, Sports Block and Senior Block allowing a gradual build-up of mass and height in the centre of the campus.

The entire campus is punctuated with outdoor spaces of varying scales, which help connect the school to nature as well as providing an opportunity for the delivery of curriculum outdoors.

The school will ultimately cater for 1880 pupils split across Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior year groups. All of the new facilities within the school are to be considered world class with particular emphasis on the delivery of Performing and Creative Arts, STEAM, Sports & Athletics employing best practice from around the globe in the development of every aspect of the school.

The school aims to give each child the best level of education possible, not just in academic training, but also in terms of character formation, developing the whole personality and awakening new interests, so that when our students leave school we can expect them to become effective, happy and responsible members of society.
